Our Beliefs

God

God is the Supreme Ruler and Creator of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and are one God. “Tri” meaning three, and “Unity” meaning one, Tri+Unity = Trinity. It is a way of acknowledging what the Bible reveals to us about God, that God is yet three “Persons” who have the same essence of deity. God the Son (Jesus) is fully, completely God. God the Father is fully, completely God. And God the Holy Spirit is fully, completely God. Yet there is only one God.

The Bible

The Bible is God’s inspired Word to us. The Bible was written by people, under the influence of the Holy Spirit. The Bible is the supreme standard for truth in the universe and the rule book for all Christian living. The Bible itself declares it is truth without error.

The Baptism of Holy Spirit 

The Holy Spirit is the third person in the trinity and He is given to believers who ask for Him. He empowers you to live a sanctified and holy life, and to be effective in service to God.

The Priesthood of the Believer

Jesus Christ grants every believer a unique relationship with the Lord. As His children, every Christian has immediate access to the throne of Grace and the ability to manifest the power of the Lord Jesus Christ in ministry. In other words, you have the same access to God as your leadership.

Discipleship

Discipleship is the obligation of every follower of Jesus Christ. Jesus commands us to go and make disciples in all the earth. We believe that each person is responsible to first evangelize and disciple their own family, then their community, and then the world, as the Holy Spirit leads them and gives them the ability.

Salvation

Salvation is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty.  Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

Eternity

Man was created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through salvation by faith in Jesus Christ. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life in Heaven. Heaven and hell are literal places of eternal existence.
